Chateau Ormes De Pez
Saint-Estephe 2004 the first bottle in a seven bottle series global Cabernet Sauvignon tasting I did for a bachelor party recently. This is from the Bordeaux region of France but its a less known area of that region (Saint-Estephe).
Details:
13% alcohol
Notes:
“A little too acidic for me”
“Better than the 2 buck chuck I normally drink”
“Has a bite, maybe needs sometime to age”
“A little flat, not really what I was looking for”
“Tasty”

Overall Score: 64 (63.6)
Summary: This is a young bordeaux that could use a little age but its not a bottle that necessarily will gain perspective over time so I would generally say let it be and spend your time & money elsewhere. Folks like Wine Spectator have given it a 89 rating (very good buy) but I didn't feel it.
