Mount Eden Vineyards Saratoga Cuvee2003 is from a Napa vintner that produces a Cabernet Sauvignon from the Santa Cruz Mountains region of Northern California (about 60 miles south of San Francisco - from the same region that produces Ridge's Monte Bello). This was the mellowest of all the seven bottles we had for the wine tasting, and one of my favorites.
Details: 13% alcohol
Notes:
“Best one so far” (from TT)
“Less fruit but nice oak”
“Too corky”
“This is GOOD!”

Summary: This was an outstanding bottle, and other than the Husch, my favorite of the bunch. As you can tell there wasn't anyone in the group that didn't like this. And for the price (approx. $20) its a great value as well. But if you're expecting a heavy red, traditional cabernet, this isn't for you - this is much more in the French tradition (13% alcohol) of winemaking - and it shows in its smoothness and drinkability.
The Mt. Eden in question is in the Santa Cruz Mountains, and is not Villa Mt. Eden, located in the Napa Valley.

That's correct, Mt. Eden is a Napa vintner but this particular wine is from Santa Cruz Mountain grapes.
