Landed in Buenos Aires at 9 AM this morning, after switching airports (domestic flights leave from a more central Aeroparque Jorge Newbury), we arrived and checked in and realized we still had a six hour so decided to take a taxi into the Palermo Soho area. We’ll be back in Buenos Aires in less than two weeks for the last seven day hurrah, so it was an opportunity to get a ‘feel’. I have to say I love it, wide sidewalks with lush greenery cover the streets with outdoor cafes on seemingly every corner. We’re eating our first meal at Meridian 58 degrees. Wonderful spot on the corder of Jorge Luis Borges & El Salvador.
We’re off to El Calafate this morning and the trekking in El Chalten.
