Serpentine - DogPatch is coming of age!
I had a work lunch today in San Francisco's newest micro-neighborhood, the Dogpatch. It's the area east of Potrero Hill, situated along the newly revived 3rd street corridor. Based on a colleagues suggestion we decided to check out a new restaurant from the Slow Club (Industrial Mission) creators called Serpentine.
I have to say I was impressed. Similar format to the Slow Club, all environmentally sustainable and/or organic ingredients, simply menu with reasonable prices. I had a Prather Range Burger with Point Reyes Blue Cheese - it was perfectly cooked (for me that's medium/rare), juicy and an ideal Friday lunch. I treated myself to some Bi-Rite Creamery Balsamic Strawberry ice cream (to combat the heat) as a finish to a great lunch. Here is a link to their Lunch Menu.
If you get a chance to visit this place, don't hesitate.
