I recently left my job (no worries, it was a mutual decision - basically we didn't agree on the direction of the business, and rather fight we decided it was best to part ways) and thought one of the first things I'd do is spend more time writing on this blog. Huh! What a joke, while I had good intentions, the reality is looking for a job takes more time than just having one, and just as importantly, I needed down time from blogging after doing this as a regular hobby since spring of '05.
What's important is that I have continued to drink, and we even did a little tasting last Saturday (I posted it on Salamandre Wine Cellars), so its not from a decline in my passion for vino but rather a concerted effort to better allocate my time. My commitment going forward is to continue to micro-blog more small posts, more frequently and spend the time enjoying my free time.
At any rate, keep up the wine exploration this holiday season, I will stay active and attempt to report my findings - both good & bad - whenever I come across them.
