Revelation Meal

Tonight, hosting a small, small as in two couple dinner, I realized my wino voice has been stifled by this faux desire to be PC and poetic. The reality is I'm not such a good writer anyway, especially when I'm forcing it. No, if I want to be true to myself I need to be me.

Kosta Browne was perfect for dinner...

Last night we had a family dinner, gathering for a feast of sorts that included a Domain Chandon Brut (etoile), a Kosta Browne & Londor Pinot Noir's and several Cowgirl Creamery cheeses. But it was the wonderful meal and company that made the evening perfect, the wine and cheeses only amplified the experience.

Frank Family Vineywards: Latest Vintage Tastings

Frank Family Vineyards is one of the last character filled, independant wineries left in the Napa Valley. One of the last in Napa to serve complimentary tastings, everything about the experience is authentic. The grounds are beautiful but far from elegant. The folks working in the tasting room are as serious about having fun as they are about the wine, creating a jovial atmosphere that opens up the experience to all walks of life.

Frank Family is located off Larkmeadow Lane, south of Calistoga directly off highway 29. Owned by Rich Frank, the former Disney chief and current head of one of the largest Hollywood agencies which represents such Hollywood stars as Natalie Portman, Leonardo DeCaprio & Martin Scorcese.
